Pinch Hitter - Williams

Pinch-Hitter

Released in:

1959

A real test of batting skill! This woodrail pitch and bat game was advertised as “the finest baseball game we [Williams] have ever built!” It can be played by one player or two head to head. One player pitches while the other is at bat. The pitcher can throw either a fastball or, through the magic of a hidden magnet, a curve ball. Watch the players run the bases in the backglass as you hit singles, doubles and triples. Bat the ball up one of the red ramps to launch it “over the fence” for a home run! Three strikes and you’re out. With two outs and the bases loaded, the pinch hitter is called to bat. Any hit scored by the pinch hitter is a grand slam! This feature makes it anybody’s game, where the underdog can come back at the last moment.
