Slugfest - Williams

Slugfest

Released in:

1991

This machine represents the last in a long line of baseball machines produced by Williams. The infamous Mark Ritchie designed this machine and, compared to the older games, it shows the advancement electronic baseball machines have gone through. The national anthem starts your game; the sounds of the stadium make you feel you’re at a game complete with popcorn vendors and hecklers. Missing a target scores a strike or ball. Pinch hitters, when activated, give a no-out safe haven for one hit. Bases loaded with two outs brings up the heckler. If you score a grand slam, you are rewarded with baseball cards (operator adjustable) and sometimes free innings. Feeding the machine allows up to nine innings. Steal a base by tapping quickly!
